What makes the Centre MARTA a good cooperation partner?

Centre MARTA  is:

• One of the biggest NGOs in Latvia
• The leading NGO in combating human trafficking
• Centre MARTA has carried out several actions that represent a concrete implementation of EU legislative norms and standards in this area.
• A well reputed NGO with a solid experience in successfully implementing various types of projects (Link to project descriptions); the necessary organisational structures; an extensive team of experts in different fields (lawyers, psychologists, social workers etc.)
• The head organisation of the Cooperation Network of Latvian Women Organisations being the head of a network that comprises 53 stakeholders ensures further contacts within Latvia and a larger support from civil society.
• Geographically well located Latvia being within the EU but on its eastern border, we have a unique experience and possibilities for cooperation to both directions (including EU countries such as Sweden and Slovakia and non member states such as Moldova).
